Background

BG Education Management Solutions, Inc. (BGEMS) is a 501C3 exempt organization, established on May 24, 2018. BGEMS’ core program is its Mandarin Language Teacher Program, in which it recruits, trains, certifies, and places K-12 Mandarin Langauge teachers in the U.S. Presently, BGEMS manages 35 Mandarin Language teachers in Minnesota, Texas, Louisiana, Michigan, Arizona, California, and Kentucky reaching more than 19,000 registered students.

Since 2020, approximately 7,000 have taken the Youth Chinese Test (YCT) or the HSK test, which is a proficiency test. Of the 7,000, BGEMS has a passing rate of 79.19%, and received the 2023 Excellent U.S. YCT/HSK Test Center Award (the only awarded in the U.S.), 2024 Outstanding Demonstration YCT/HSK Center Award.

BGEMS has led more than 25 programs to China, consisting of over 420 participants from Kentucky and beyond to China as part of its specialized cultural exchange trips. BGEMS has designed very specific cultural exchange aimed at language learners, teachers, administrators, and community members. Cultural Exchange

BGEMS believes that the easiest way to broaden one’s perspective is through a hands-on approach. We specialize in providing opportunities for individuals to flourish, in and outside of the classroom through a curriculum-based study abroad. Through these programs, individuals will learn the following:

• Enhance their understanding and appreciation for other cultures

• Learn how to work in collaborative groups, enhance problem solving skills, develop deductive reasoning or critical thinking skills, and enhance communication

• Increase their global perspectives, and develop an appreciation of other cultures

• Strengthen language skills
